Aftermath Visual Art Exhibition 'War Art' 18 to 26 June 2011Exeter Castle
The participating Artists below, wish to extend their deepest thanks to all those who attended this memorable exhibition. They were overwhelmed by the public's positive comments and generosity, with £230 raised in acknowledgement of the Royal British Legion's outstanding work in supporting serving and former members of the Armed Forces.
More than 1200 people attended the exhibition, and the extensive local, national press and radio coverage ensured that 'War Art' exhibition's aims of raising awareness of Combat Related Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, reached an estimated audience of 175,000 people.
The Artists also wish to extend their thanks to all those who supported them in making this exhibition happen, with special mention to both Exeter Castle and Exeter City Council.
