War has now become an accepted part of every day life, with news broadcasts of the loss of life, and ongoing military commitments, overshadowing the often controversial, hidden costs of war, such as Combat Related Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (CR-PTSD).

This is the 'invisible wound' that to this day remains socially stigmatised and is silently suffered by the individual, with devastating effects on their lives, families and society as a whole.

Aftermath PTSD is a not for profit organisation, run by our teams of volunteer Artists that use visual art exhibitions to raise national awareness of combat related trauma.

With these exhibitions we also raise funds for the dedicated military CR-PTSD Charities, and fund art materials and activities to help war veterans express their trauma, for which there are no words. In this way we hope to create a bridge of understanding between sufferers and the community.
